  Pilates Teacher Training & Certification

Over the last decade, Pilates has grown in popularity exponentially, creating an ever expanding need for highly educated Pilates teachers. Unfortunately, this need for instructors has led to fly-by-night teacher training schools popping up all over.

Historically, a Pilates teacher needed to undergo 400 – 600 hours of lecture, observation and self practice in order to safely teach clients. Now we see organizations claiming to “certify” Pilates teachers in as little as just 8 hours!

Personal Best Pilates Instructor Academy™ (PBPIA) IS NOT one of those “quickie” teacher training programs. We have been training Pilates instructors country wide since 2003. Our comprehensive teacher training course requires 510 hours of lecture, observation and self practice, as well as a 300 hour hands on paid apprenticeship in our studio. Graduates of the program will be fully qualified to sit for the Pilates Method Alliance Certification Exam – the ONLY NCAA accredited Pilates Teacher Certification in the world!

We know that you have lots of choices when it comes to your Pilates teacher education. Choosing a Pilates teacher training program will be one of the most important investments you will make in your career. Please consider your options very carefully, and you’ll find that PBPIA is the gold standard for Pilates instructor education in the country. Note: We offer Bridging programs for students who have completed training modules elsewhere, please inquire with your specific needs. Certification programs include Full Comprehensive Pilates Teacher qualified to sit for the PMA Exam, as well as independent Mat and/or Reformer certificate programs.

Financing available. Please share this email with anyone else you know who may be interested.
